Creative Ways to Repurpose Your Wedding Flowers

Do you want to make the most of your wedding floral investment? The best way to do so is to repurpose your wedding flowers! I love being a wedding floral designer because the structure of a wedding lends itself to maximizing your beautiful florals throughout the day, from the ceremony to the reception. Read on to discover how I do this at Wild Vogel and the best areas to repurpose your florals.

My Luxury Floral Design Services

At Wild Vogel, my wedding floral design services encompass full-day set-up. I’ll deliver all your flowers to the venue at the start of the day and set up everything, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. I’ll flip the space hosting your ceremony and reception or travel to each event location to ensure your vision is fully executed.

My full-day presence ensures your ability to maximize your wedding florals! I can repurpose flowers from your ceremony and install them at your reception, ensuring they remain fresh and beautiful. Sometimes, they need tweaking before being placed in their new location, so it’s important to have a trained floral designer undertake this task. However, other times, I can transfer them to their new location without making any major edits (a win-win!).

My favourite way to repurpose your wedding flowers is by deconstructing the ceremony arch or mantlepiece. This method has so much creative potential! I can turn the flowers into a reception garland or a floral meadow for your head table. Alternatively, I can keep the arch intact and place it behind your sweetheart or head table to create a gorgeous backdrop.

Ways to Repurpose Your Wedding Flowers

There are many more ways to maximize your floral investment, and you can choose to utilize as many or as little as you want, depending on the unique look you envision. Do you plan to decorate your wedding welcome sign with flowers? I love repurposing these along the base of the head table, the stage area (if you’ll have a live band), the bar, or the photo booth. The options are limitless!

As described above, reusing your ceremony florals also opens up numerous possibilities. Even if you don’t plan on having a floral archway, I can still repurpose freestanding pillars, floral urns, ceremony meadows, or whatever kind of installation(s) you envision. I especially love using these flowers on the guest tables or in long floral meadows to create a whimsical look.

If you plan to have bud vase centrepieces on your guest tables, you can repurpose those too! They make the cutest petite floral posies for your guests to take home. You can even turn this into an interactive activity for your guests with a flower gift-wrapping station to enhance their experience.

These easy ways to repurpose your wedding flowers will ensure your investment goes far in adding beauty and value to your special day. As your wedding floral designer, you can trust that I will maximize your florals and be there all day to ensure they look just as you envisioned. Inquire with Wild Vogel today to find out if I have availability for your 2025 event! I can’t wait to hear your floral design vision.
